Repentance, or Tawbah, is one of the most beloved acts to Allah. In the Quran, Allah says, "Indeed, Allah loves those who repent and loves those who purify themselves" Quran 2:222. This verse highlights the significance of repentance in our relationship with our Creator. It is a means of returning to Him, acknowledging our shortcomings, and seeking His forgiveness.

Allah has created us to be tested, as He states in the Quran: "Do you think that you will enter Paradise while such trial has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you?" Quran 2:214.
