An avid baseball enthusiast, Zach Beeson has tied his love of baseball and cuisine into an enriching life for himself and his family. While scheduling around his duty commitments in the Army National Guard, Captain Beeson has been able to visit many interesting and unique locations with many more on his bucket list. From his collegiate career under legendary coach Skip Bertman, where he helped lead the Tigers to their first national championship until today, Ronnie has been a prominent figure in the Bayou sports scene. Reflecting on some of the life lessons I learned from my dad. I relate stories about my father, including a couple that I recorded before he passed in 2024. 

Jerry McCutchen, aka Mullett, was my hero. Hard working, competitive, tough with the highest level of integrity, he was a leader among leaders. I miss him everyday and want to continue his pursuit of Christian service in all I do.

In this episode I catch up with Cam Vega, the first manager of the Abilene Flying Bison of the Mid America League. Cam is also the Recruiting Coordinator and an assistant coach for the Cisco College Wranglers. Though only 24, Cam has gotten more baseball experience than many people twice his age, including playing Power 5 baseball, winning an NBC title, and leading a summer collegiate wood bat team to 46 regular season wins.
