In this episode I’m joined by Ambre Whatley from Eden Seeds, and we dive right into the world of heirloom seeds, seed saving, and why any of this actually matters in the real world.

We talk about what heirloom varieties really are, how they differ from a lot of modern commercial seed lines, and why saving seed is more than just a nice gardening hobby. It’s about independence, resilience, and keeping genetics alive that have been passed down through generations of growers, not locked up behind patents or chemical dependency.
