The Jets blow another lead as the Oilers comeback to defeat Winnipeg by a final score of 4-3. Make it 11 straight for Winnipeg without a victory (0-7-4). And it\'s another one goal loss (0-11-5).

Vegas with the comeback win defeating Winnipeg 4-3 in OT as the Jets lose another one goal game. That\'s a tough one as the winless streak hits 10 games for the home team (0-6-4).

The Jets are the bottom team in the NHL and to speak about his hockey team we heard from Winnipeg GM Kevin Cheveldayoff as he provided his midseason assessment of his hockey club.

As you might note listening, we had a bit of a snafu (just after the 18 minute mark) so we lost a couple of questions but did capture the final eight minutes of his availability.

Make it nine straight losses as the Jets lose 4-2 to the Senators to end the road trip. They are 0-6-3 during this run. Too many penalties and when your PK has slid the way the Jets have that is not a recipe for success. Jets blow 2-0, 3-1, 4-1 and 5-4 leads to lose 6-5 to the Leafs in regulation which means they’ve now lost eight straight games (0-5-3) as they start 2026 in absolutely disheartening fashion with this loss in Toronto.

The late push does not materialize into a tying goal and the Jets drop another game, this time 2-1 in Motor City versus Detroit. With the loss, the Jets suffered their 19th defeat of the season which comes in game 38, when last year it came in game 71 on March 23rd.

The Jets performed admirably, but in a results oriented business, all they have to show for tonight's effort is another notch in the loss column, dropping a 3-1 decision to EDM. With the loss they remain tied with the Hawks for last place in the NHL.

The Jets snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, giving up a late 3rd period goal on the penalty kill with just 22 seconds left on the clock and then losing in OT, 4-3. That’s their third OT loss in the last five games which is good that they are earning a point from the game but not ideal when you consider how far back they are from even a wild card spot

While the Jets lost this game they did manage to overcome a 3-0 deficit including getting two goals in 25 seconds to send the game to extra time. While the Mammoth got the game-winning goal just 13 seconds into OT, Winnipeg did avoid heading into the break on a complete tailspin (although they've only got six wins in their last 23 games) and are 15-17-3.
