Now we will take a look at what we have already in our water infrastructure and why the canal network isn't being used extensively to distribute flood, why they waited till the 11th hour to release the river excess into the canals near Ravi, CHENAB and Sutlej rivers. With this understanding can we accept the govt's excuses of torrential rains and super flood as reasons for their incompetence?

CHENAB floods various villages and towns. Jhang is next in line. More than 17000 villages have been flooded. All this devastation and people are helping each other left on their own so where is the army and the govt conducting their rescue ops? Just had the misfortune to once again catch an Indian and white person making the most stupid argument on ethnicities and nationality. Today was pretty hellish weather and when you are running an errand in such weather only to find out you havent got anything done, it can drive you crazy. Especially tailors: they can really do your head in. What has happened to the age old professional integrity of the old Master Tailors?

Was listening to alot of anti India sentiments by vloggers and although I agree with most but there are a few things a certain vlogger Mr Lboyd Reacts said that I feel obliged to correct while also once again referring to the vlogger I talked about in my previous podcast named Loy Machedo. Let's set a few things straight here. Let's talk about the UK and France and the first world and Let's talk about China and Korea and Africa.

This is a much needed question to answer, a topic to address especially when we see people especially Hindu Indians negatively impacting others when believing they are just following their culture and keep dragging in Muslims to compare it. It's not the same, and this is easy to prove. This proof will automatically address why and how Muslims have lived in non-Muslim countries peacefully assimilating for decades without the general public knowing nothing about Islam. This is important, I reiterate, to address.

Right now the US airports and hotels are empty. Crickets empty. There are many reasons for that, but this was the ultimate result of decisions that dated 9/11 . I thought it would be better to list a few things to give a better idea of why I say we in Pakistan live in constant fear even within our own homes. The most ransom things that you could never even have thought of happen here. And frequently.

Superficial and hypocritical...Are Hadith and Quran classes that women run to another way to exert pressure in the name of parties and charities? Or just an excuse to get out of the house...which is fine actually but What have you learnt then if your practice is dead against what your religion teaches? Waste of time and unnecessary pressure or just a place to gossip...are these worth it?

Update: Another neighbour just confirmed they had the same problem with one phase...that's a relief only if too late now that I already know it was all LESCO.

Living in Pakistan means living in a state of hyper vigilance and hypertension. It means thinking of things one woukd never even fathom in other countries. This makes wznting to get anything done near impossible. This is a country of happenings and occurances that aren't practical, scientific or logical. Things that can never happen anywhere will happen here. Especially all the unholy bad things. So when we do anything we rely on prayers for it to stay intact, amd we know even prayers will not always help.

Monsoon has finally begun and the clouds that were filled to bursting point thus oast month are heaving and literally bursting. The oxymoron of rains today, where the blessing of rain is also a Curse due to decades of corruption and dishonesty leading to zero preparation against something that happens every year. This leads to wastage of tonnes of water we need and also unnecessary damage to infrastructure that could easily be avoided.

Suddenly remembered my childhood dream of turning my personal book collection into a local community free access library and I see how many countries have these piblic mini free access libraries and i feel this is somwthing every book lover must have dreamed about like me. Difference is they made it happen while pur country even though it also has a rare few such bus stop free access libraries but because of our non book reading culture we have a long way to realise our dreams.
