The 2026 PGA Tour season kicks off next week in Hawaii with the Sony Open. Mike and Jeff give their players to watch this season, interesting storylines and make some major predictions for the upcoming season.

LIV Golf added a few players this week and we do a brief discussion on what they have going on for 2026 as well.

Andrew Novak and Lauren Coughlin won the Grant Thornton mixed team event this week in Florida. For Novak it was his 2nd team win of the year. Coughlin took home the largest paycheck of her career in their record breaking win at -28.

Typically overlooked due to its lack of star power, the Mexico Open at VidantaWorld provided an amazing final round on Sunday filled with drama. Journeyman Brian Campbell bested rookie Aldrich Potgieter in a playoff for his first win on the PGA Tour.

In a true David vs. Goliath matchup, the PGA Tour's longest hitter, Potgieter, was bested by possibly its shortest hitter Campbell to win the event.
